Master of Science

Our MSc programs are designed to be completed in two academic years (full time) or on a part-time basis.

The Clinical Epidemiology MSc program prepares students in the fundamentals of health research concepts and methods applied to issues in clinical and health care contexts. Graduates will understand the conceptual basis of methods used to create, translate, and implement knowledge, including patient-oriented perspectives. They will develop critical approaches to the evidentiary underpinning to clinical practice and clinical care organization and delivery. Graduates will have demonstrated their ability to design and implement a research project.

The Community Health MSc program prepares students in the fundamentals of health research concepts and methods applied to population health. Graduates will understand determinants of population health, health equity, and strategies to create and critically appraise knowledge relevant to describing, protecting, promoting and restoring the health of communities through societal policies and interventions. Graduates will have demonstrated their ability to design and implement a research project.
