Bachelor of Science
The Bachelor of Science in Economics is designed for students who want a rigorous and technical foundation in the discipline. It places a strong emphasis on mathematical and statistical modelling, making it well-suited for students interested in data-intensive careers or further academic study in economics, finance, or related disciplines.
Through advanced coursework in areas such as mathematical economics and econometrics, students develop the tools needed to interpret complex data, evaluate policy, and contribute to research and decision-making at leading private sector firms and the public sector.
Students pursuing the Bachelor of Science may combine their studies with a joint major in economics and one of several other sciences—computer science, mathematics or statistics. There is a co-op option for the joint program with statistics.
