For Employers
This program option is forthcoming. We anticipate admitting the first cohort of students to the internship option in Fall 2026.
The Master of Arts in Economics program at Memorial University offers a Co-operative Internship Option for its students. This is a competitive program that requires students to demonstrate strong academic and professional competencies for admission. Our students receive advanced training to take on roles in leading private sector firms, government agencies and the not-for-profit sector, and to support evidence-based decision-making at your organization.
Schedule
Students complete one 12–16 week full-time paid Co-operative Internship with a host organization in the private, not-for-profit or public sector. The internship typically takes place during the spring and summer months (May to August) after the completion of all required coursework.
