Why Graduate Studies?

The Department of Economics offers intensive, rewarding graduate programs designed to provide students with advanced training in theoretical and applied economics. Whether you are preparing for a career in research, policy, or industry, our programs emphasize the analytical tools needed to succeed in specialized and competitive environments.

Our students benefit from small class sizes and individualized instruction from faculty who are renowned for both their scholarship and their dedication to teaching and supervision.

Funding

We offer competitive financial support in the form of generous fellowships and other financial awards to many graduate students so you can focus on your academic success.

This is the minimum amount you can receive before additional employment income from a graduate assistantship in our department. Many of our master's students earn more than the minimum by working as research and teaching assistants.
