Become a Member of the Memorial University Centre for Bioethics
Memorial’s Centre for Bioethics has three types of membership:
A full member is a Memorial University faculty member or postdoctoral fellow who is actively engaged in research and teaching, and whose work addresses or overlaps with bioethics.
2. Associate Member
An associate member is engaged in bioethics research, policy work, education, and/or practice, and is external to Memorial University (for example, is an employee of a regional health authority in or outside of NL, or is faculty of another university).
3. Graduate Student Member
Graduate student members from any discipline at Memorial who have an interest in bioethics can become members of the Centre. Current Master of Health Ethics students are automatically members.
Becoming a Member
In each case, a potential member applies for membership using the on-line application process. The Management Team will review and accept members based on the criteria listed above. Membership is renewed every three years.
