  • Student Work and Service Program (SWASP) MUN - was designed to reduce the debt load of student parents, and to offer a valuable work opportunity where learned skills could be put to use and new ones strengthened. During the Spring Semester, funding is available to both student parents and non-parent students (i.e. ALL Memorial students are eligible).

  • Student Work and Service Program (SWASP) Community Service Component - is a unique program that serves post-secondary students and community organizations, enabling students to work in their home community during the summer, develop transferable skills, explore career interests and help nonprofits carry out their programs.

  • Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) - is an initiative of the Student Work Experience Program delivered by Service Canada. The program provides wage subsidies to help Canadian employers create career-related summer jobs for students between the ages of 15 and 30 at the start of employment. Assistance under the program will help fund employment opportunities for Memorial students from June to August.

  • Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) - is the primary vehicle through which federal departments and agencies recruit students for some 7,000 temporary student jobs each year.

  • Tutoring Work Experience Program (TWEP) - an opportunity to tutor high school students who are preparing for year-end exams.

  • Partnership for Academic and Career Education and Employment Program (PACEE) - provides students at Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) and College of the North Atlantic (CNA) full-time summer employment (on campus).

  • OEEPD Student Summer Employment Program - the Office of Employment Equity for Persons with Disabilities Student Summer Employment Program provides career-related work experience to post-secondary students with disabilities. Students will gain practical skills and knowledge to help them prepare for their future entry into the labour market.

  •  PERCE Program - RDÉE TNL encourages you to participate in the PERCÉ program, which offers summer employment to French speaking students.

  • City of St. John's - The City of St. John’s offers a wide range of instructional programs and activities for children, youth and adults throughout the city during the summer months. Employees have excellent opportunities for training in the areas of leadership, professional development, administration, interpersonal relations, skill development, group work, team dynamics and much more.

  • City of Mount Pearl - The Community Services Department is now accepting applications from enthusiastic, creative and energetic students for the following summer positions.

  • Town of Paradise - The Paradise Recreation Department offers a wide range of instructional programs and activities for children, youth, and adults throughout the Town during the summer months. If you are a motivated, enthusiastic, energetic individual who would like the challenge of working in a recreation or parks environment, why not apply for one of the exciting and challenging positions outlined.

  • Town of Conception Bay South - The Town is looking for motivated, enthusiastic, energetic individuals for their summer programs, recreational services, park patrol and as Topsail Beach attendants. Working with the town during the summer will give employees the opportunity to develop their team building skills, communication skills and to contribute to their community.
