I’m happy to have a chance to take part in managing the union. I’m currently doing a PhD at the Archaeology Department and I’ve had a few research assistant jobs at MUN so far.

Yiyin Liu (She/Her) is currently a second-year PhD student in Interdisciplinary program with academic interests in lived experience of females in workplace of male-dominated industry. In her role as Vice-President, she brings experience in international professional network, multicultural interaction, peer mentorship, and is passionate about fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment within the union and beyond. She likes painting, video games, diving and practicing her not-good snowboarding skills in her free time.

Miranda Adedze (She/Her) supports the establishment of a sustainable future for TAUMUN through policy modifications and the development of a robust membership base. Outside of her academic and leadership roles, she enjoys exploring new places and seizing travel opportunities whenever they arise.

Kieran Knoll (He/Him) has research interests in strategic solidarity and embedded-actor ethnographic methods. His aspirations for TAUMUN are to create visibility, opportunity and advocacy for our members and the communities we represent. He is committed to bring financial accountability and transparency to this union, and solidarity for all. At just 18, Kieran became the youngest Campus Chair of OCSU and served on its Executive Board as both External Director and Executive Chair. He has held several leadership positions in his post-secondary career, and he looks forward to contributing his skills to the team.

Edwina NSD Aryeetey (She/Her) is currently a first-year graduate student in Political Science. Her goals for TAUMUN are to provide a diverse range of accessible resources and opportunities that address the needs and interests of teaching assistants, including financial assistance and reimbursements, professional development opportunities, networking, and advocacy for equitable working conditions.
