On April 30, 2025, the Board of Regents announced Dr. Janet Morrison as Memorial’s next president and vice-chancellor. Dr. Morrison will begin her term as Memorial’s president on Aug. 11, 2025.

The Board of Regents would like to thank members of the Presidential Search Committee for their commitment and dedication to finding Memorial’s next president. Thank you as well to everyone who participated in the search process, whether through consultation sessions, surveys or small group discussions with candidates.
