The Marine Institute offers a variety of room settings to individuals or groups planning a meeting, seminar or a conference. A number of groups hold monthly meetings and public lectures at the Institute each month. Many industrial clients and external groups have found our facilities provide the ideal location for small working groups and seminars and are ideal for breakout sessions. The Launch is Memorial University's cutting-edge “living lab,” offering a safe, near-Arctic environment for technology testing, training, and ocean research, conveniently at Holyyrood, near St. John’s.  The Launch also offers beautiful meeting facilities for receptions, meetings, and events.
