Social Accountability Advisory Committee

Mandate

To provide strategic advice and community-informed guidance to the Faculty of Medicine on the advancement, implementation, and strengthening of social accountability across its education, research, clinical, and service activities.

Purpose

  • To advise the Faculty of Medicine on priorities, opportunities, and emerging issues related to social accountability across the institution
  • To support meaningful engagement with diverse communities, partners, and stakeholders in shaping and informing the Faculty’s social accountability commitments and activities
  • To provide guidance on initiatives, programs, and strategies that advance social accountability within the Faculty of Medicine and support their effective implementation
  • To strengthen collaboration, responsiveness, and shared accountability between the Faculty of Medicine and the communities it serves
