SUBJECT: Memorial University's St. John's alumni chapter to host "An Evening in Santiago"
DATE: Feb. 24
The Andes in the distance, and a gentle pacific breeze accompanied by the passionate rhythm of Latin music... that's the inspiration for a special evening of wine-tasting with host and oenophile, Dr. Arthur May, president emeritus of Memorial University. Guests attending An Evening in Santiago will sample five different Chilean wines including three reserves ordered especially for the evening. Reception music will be provided by the Memorial student jazz quartet.
The wine tasting event will take place on Friday, March 7 from 7-10 p.m. in the University Club, 5th floor of the Arts Building Annex, located on Memorial's St. John's campus. The event is open to the public and tickets are $25 (single).
For more information or to reserve a ticket call: 737-4354 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. An Evening in Santiago is sponsored by the St. John's Chapter of Memorial's Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Affairs and Development.
