The Oil and Gas Development Partnership Lecture Series continues at Memorial University on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, with a lecture titled Natural Gas: The Excruciating Transition. Given by Dr. Michael Economides, professor at the Cullen College of Engineering, University of Houston, the lecture will look at the trend towards natural gas as the premium fuel of the future. A number of potential sources of natural gas, their limitations and potential will also be discussed. The lecture starts at 5 p.m. in the Engineering Lecture Theatre (EN-2006) located off the main lobby of the S.J. Carew (Engineering) Building. Media agencies are encouraged to send representatives.
