SUBJECT: Bowling for Clarenville scholarships

The Clarenville Chapter of Memorial University Alumni Association is holding its 12th annual bowling tournament on Friday, March 18, at the Caribou Lanes in Clarenville. The pins start dropping at 7 p.m. Organizer George Martin has a great line- up of prizes to make sure everyone takes a gift home. In addition to offering a great evening of fun and networking, the tournament is one of the main fundraising events for the local scholarship fund. So, if you are in the area, come in for a little friendly competition. But book your spot early because there's only room for 60 people and it fills up early. Registration is $10 per person.
