SUBJECT: Memorial University to present 39th annual Alumni Tribute Awards

Master of ceremonies Sheila Williams (B.Mus.Ed.’06) will host the 39th annual Alumni Tribute Awards on Monday, Oct. 26, at Signal Hill Campus, from 7-8 p.m.
The event will also be livestreamed.
The Alumni Tribute Awards are the highest honour that can be bestowed upon members of the Memorial alumni family, now nearly 100,000 graduates worldwide, who have made outstanding contributions in Newfoundland and Labrador and beyond.
The 2020 honourees are as follows:
- Lisa Browne (BA’91, MBA’93), Alumna of the Year
- Geoff Emberley (B.Eng.’74, MBA’83), J.D. Eaton Award
- Aatif Baskanderi (B.Eng.’08, MTM’15), Horizon Award
- Courtney Clarke (BA’12, MIPGC’15), Outstanding Community Service Award
