REF NO.: 2

SUBJECT: School of Pharmacy recruiting for cannabis advisory panel

DATE: Sept. 16

Are you at least 19 years old, live in Newfoundland and Labrador and are interested in cannabis policy?

Researchers at Memorial University’s School of Pharmacy are evaluating the province’s policy on cannabis use for non-medical purposes and want to understand how people are using cannabis.

That’s where you come in. You can help by sharing your lived experience, along with needs, or concerns, about legalization. The team is looking for a variety of opinions about cannabis, including from people who:

Use cannabis for medical or non-medical reasons

Are new users of cannabis since legalization

Have never used cannabis

You will be offered $25 per hour and can also be compensated for other expenses like travel and training if necessary. You'd be expected to take part in meetings twice a year over a three-year period and a half day workshop this fall.

If you are interested in taking part or have questions, contact the group via email. Find additional information online.
