SUBJECT: HIPP 2B Healthy: The inaugural HKR speaker series lecture

The School of Human Kinetics and Recreation (HKR) at Memorial University presents the inaugural lecture of the HKR speaker series.
Assistant professors Drs. Erin McGowan and Erin Cameron will speak to living well, health promotion and disease prevention. The lecture will be hosted on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Physical Education building in room PE-2001.
Drs. McGowan and Cameron recently formed the Health Innovation through Promotion and Practice (HIPP) Collaborative to bring people in the community together to promote health and wellness. Dr. McGowan has expertise in exercise and health psychology, behavioural medicine, physical activity and cancer/cancer prevention. Dr. Cameron’s recognized for her expertise in health education, health-related stigma, health promotion and health pedagogy.
