SUBJECT: Faculty and staff art exhibit opening at Memorial University’s Queen Elizabeth II Library

First Space Gallery in the Queen Elizabeth II Library at Memorial University is pleased to present its annual exhibition of art by current and retired faculty and staff on May 8, on view until July 17. 

The exhibit, titled Abundance, will feature more than 35 artists and will cover a variety of creative methods and subject matter. The opening event takes place on Friday, May 8, from 5-6:30 p.m.

The exhibition is curated by QEII employees Joanne Costello and Stephanie Williams who are formally trained in the visual arts.

First Space Gallery has shown work by emerging artists since 2004 and continues its commitment to foster creative expression that celebrates Memorial’s dynamic campus and its thriving surrounding community.
