SUBJECT: International exchange ambassadors attend Go Abroad Fair
DATE: Sept. 30
Note to media:
International exchange students representing Greenland, Korea, France, and Taiwan will encourage Memorial University students to embark on their own international adventures at the Go Abroad Fair on Wednesday, Oct.1, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the University Centre Landing, Arctic Avenue, on the St. John’s campus.
The international exchange ambassadors will represent their countries and their home universities as potential exchange destinations for Memorial University students.
The Go Abroad Fair introduces Memorial students to the many international opportunities available to them, and encourages international exchange students to share their own first-hand study abroad experiences through their exchange here at Memorial.
Memorial University students who go on exchange pay Memorial tuition fees and attend a host institution for a semester or two. Exchange students choose from institutions at more than 30 countries worldwide. Current and past study abroad participants will be available to answer questions.
Media representatives are invited to attend during peak times of 12-2 p.m.
