SUBJECT: Memorial University’s telephone exchange transition enters second phase

Memorial University’s St. John’s campus has a new telephone exchange number.
As of Feb. 5, 2011, the old exchange, 737, is being phased out. The new exchange is 864.
After Feb. 5, anyone dialing 737 will receive a message notifying them of the change. Callers are then forwarded to their desired connection.
The change excludes the Marine Institute and Grenfell Campus in Corner Brook. It also does not affect the Schools of Nursing and Pharmacy or the Faculty of Medicine as they operate under the 777 exchange within Eastern Health.
