SUBJECT: MUNdays kick off Memorial University’s annual celebrations with a bang
DATE: Oct. 26
It’s Day 1 of Memorial University’s yearly fall celebrations, MUNdays.
The week kicks off with the official Launch, at the University Centre at 10:30 a.m., immediately followed by the Parade of Flags. From 6-7 p.m. in the Field House, the Owned in 60 Seconds and the Out Move Sammy dance contest will take place.
At Grenfell, the week will start right with a Healthy Start Brown Bag Breakfast from 8-10:30 a.m. at Crossroads in the Arts and Science Building. Then, at noon, tie up your sneakers for I Walk for Grenfell at the Pepsi Centre. The evening festivities begin with an Intro to Belly Dancing from 7-8 p.m. in the Arts and Science gymnasium, followed by Hallogreen at 8:30 p.m. in the GCSU student lounge.
