SUBJECT: Campus road closure at Memorial University

Due to Memorial’s participation in CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada Play On! national street hockey tournament, there will be road and lane closures on the St. John’s campus. The closures will take place from 6 p.m. on Friday, June 26, until 8 p.m., Sunday, June 28. The venue is the current east bound lanes of Arctic Ave.

 In order to facilitate the tournament, the following traffic and parking changes will be in effect for the duration of this event: the east bound lanes of Arctic Ave. from Clinch Crescent to Morrissey Drive will be closed to all traffic; the current west bound lanes on Arctic Ave. will be changed from one-way traffic to two-way traffic; Kerwin Place will be closed; and there will be no access to parking areas 7, 7A, 16 and 16A and permit holders for these areas can park in areas 27, 60 and 61 during this time.
