Media representatives are invited to attend an open house and welcome event to celebrate the re-opening of Memorial's Internationalization Office (IO) on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

Participants include Chris Mitchelmore, minister, Advanced Education, Skills and Labour; Debbie Hanlon, councillor, City of St. John’s; Dr. Noreen Golfman, provost and vice-president (academic); Sonja Knutson, director, Internationalization Office, and Ahmed Shokr, an international student at Memorial.

The event will take place from 4-7 p.m., with brief speeches beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room at the Internationalization Office.
