SUBJECT: PSA: The Rhody Show at Memorial University Botanical Garden

With more than 200 varieties of rhododendrons, Memorial University’s Botanical Garden will be a riot of color during its annual Rhody Show.

Over four days, the garden will celebrate Canada’s National Garden Days with these beautiful blooms.

Thursday, June 20: Booze and Botany | 6:30-8 p.m.
Join research horticulturalist Todd Boland as you sip botanical cocktails and stroll around the garden, taking in the sights and smells of the garden at the start of summer. Register online for this special ticketed event. 

Friday, June 21: Busking in the Blooms | 6-8 p.m.
Spend the summer solstice among the blooms and be treated to an evening of song by Memorial’s talented music students. You’ll love the flowers and the musicians too! Entry by donation.

Saturday, June 22-Sunday, June 23: Family Bloom Days | 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Calling all flower lovers! Spend a family day in the garden with flower crafts, activities and a petal parade. On Sunday, June 23, there will be fairies and woodland creatures from Sci-Fi on the Rock.
