SUBJECT: PSA: Public invited to Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science open house
DATE: March 8, 2018
Memorial University’s Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science will host its annual public open house on Saturday, March 10, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Engineering building on Memorial’s St. John’s campus.
The family-friendly event will begin in the main foyer of the Engineering building with information booths and guided tours of its working laboratories. The whole family will enjoy learning about the real-world applications of engineering.
Some highlights this year may include a tour of the award-winning Paradigm Hyperloop pod, 3D printers, a ride on a 58-metre wave tank, chats with robots and so much more!
Admission is free. Free parking is available in lot 22, east of the Business Administration building.
If the event is cancelled due to weather, it will be held on Sunday, March 11.
Members of the media are invited to attend.
