SUBJECT: PSA: Provincial schools vie for top spot in remotely operated vehicle competition

Teams from 30 junior high and high schools in Newfoundland and Labrador will compete in a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) competition from May 4-5 at the Marine Institute’s flume tank at 155 Ridge Rd. in St. John's.
Junior high school teams will compete on Friday, May 4, from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
High school teams will compete on Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Watch from the flume tank’s viewing gallery as the teams use their ROVs to deploy scientific instruments and execute specific tasks.
All are welcome to attend; admission is free.
