SUBJECT: Memorial University hosting federal-provincial announcement

Note to editors:
Dr. Richard Marceau, vice-president (research), Memorial University, will host a funding announcement tomorrow, Wednesday, March 2, at 10 a.m., in room ER-4065 in the Alexander Murray (Earth Sciences) building on the St. John’s campus.
Dr. Marceau will be joined by Bardish Chagger, federal minister, Small Business and Tourism; Nick Whalen, MP, St. John’s East; Christopher Mitchelmore, provincial minister, Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development, and Pamela Moss, director, manufacturing, communications and technologies, research partnership with the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada.
The announcement will begin with a laboratory tour at 9:45 a.m., followed by a news conference at 10 a.m.
