SUBJECT: Chevron Canada to make donation to Marine Institute

Mark MacLeod, Chevron Canada’s vice-president, Atlantic Canada, and Glenn Blackwood, vice-president, Memorial University (Marine Institute), will attend the Atlantic Canada Petroleum Show on Thursday, June 23, at 1 p.m. to announce details of a donation of safety and survival equipment to the Marine Institute’s Offshore Safety and Survival Centre.
The announcement will take place in booth No. 1308 at Mile One Centre in St. John’s, where the institute’s Centre for Marine Simulation and Offshore Safety and Survival Centre are showcasing education and applied research capabilities for the offshore and maritime industries and the latest innovations in simulation technologies.
Media representatives are invited to attend.
