SUBJECT: PSA: Public invited to Marine Institute open house

Come See MI World. The Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University will host a public open house on Saturday, March 21.
The event will take place at the Marine Institute, 155 Ridge Rd., from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
This is a great family friendly event for everyone to learn more about what happens at the Marine Institute. You’ll have the chance to pilot ships and remotely operated vehicles, visit the stars and build a model boat.
Drop by to see the world’s largest flume tank and tour our laboratories where we’ll experiment with food, fish, metals and bacteria. We are even making elephant toothpaste!
Admission is free and there is free parking in lots M1 and M2.
Representatives from the media are invited to attend.
