SUBJECT: Hibernia investing in geophysics program at Memorial University

Media representatives are invited to attend an official announcement by Hibernia Management and Development Company Ltd. regarding a significant contribution to enhance the geophysics program at Memorial University. The announcement will take place on Friday, Jan. 31.
Participants include Dr. Richard Marceau, vice-president (research), Memorial University; Jamie Long, president, Hibernia Management and Development Company Ltd.; and Dr. John Hanchar, head, Department of Earth Sciences.
The event will take place at 1 p.m. in the third floor atrium of the Alexander Murray (Earth Sciences) building, St. John’s campus, Memorial University. To view a campus map, please visit www.mun.ca/campusmap.php.
A reception will follow.
Limited parking for media is available in the underground lot below the Earth Sciences building in lot 60.
