Memorial University presents The Wicked Memorial Variety Show at Mile One Centre in St. John’s on Saturday, Aug. 11. The show will feature Hey Rosetta! and The Wonderful Grand Band, with special performances by Amelia Curran, Barry Canning, Andrew James O’Brien and Jonny Harris. Mark O'Brien, known for his breakout role as Des Courtney on the hit CBC series Republic of Doyle, will be the show’s emcee. The show starts at 8:00 pm and doors open at 7:00 pm.

You are invited to send one reporter and one video camera operator to the show, for a maximum of two people per media outlet. Please note that all media must register in advance to gain admittance to the show.

 Media will be met at Gate 5 at 7:00 pm. For each performer, media photographers will have the chance to take pictures during the set (no flash), in pairs of two escorted by Memorial University’s media rep.
