SUBJECT: PSA: Gardening made easier: taking steps towards a universal design

Come to the Memorial University Community Garden for a presentation that brings the benefits of occupational therapy to the gardening experience. The right design, tools and techniques can make all the difference removing barriers to ensure that everyone can enjoy gardening. Topics covered during this session include raised beds, gardening tools and safe ergonomics/ biomechanics while gardening.
Date: Wednesday, June 27
Time: 5-6 p.m.
Location: Memorial University’s St. John’s campus, Community Garden, Long Pond (in the event of bad weather, the location will be moved indoors to Queen’s College, QC-4028)
