SUBJECT: Memorial University to officially open Arts and Science Extension at Grenfell Campus

Memorial University will host a news conference on Friday, May 25, to officially open the Arts and Science Extension at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University.
President Gary Kachanoski will be joined by Peter Penashue, minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, Government of Canada, and Joan Burke, minister of Advanced Education and Skills, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Dr. Mary Bluechardt, vice-president (Grenfell Campus).
The event will take place at 11 a.m., in the Arts and Science Extension, Grenfell Campus. A reception will follow on the second floor of the new extension.
Media agencies are invited to send representatives to the event, taking place in room AS2026, and to take part in a tour of the new facility beginning at 10 a.m.
