SUBJECT: PSA: Memorial University teams up with Eastern Edge Gallery and Magpie magazine

              Each month Memorial University’s Graduate Program in Humanities, the Eastern Edge Gallery and Magpie magazine team up to present some of St. John’s most exciting and intriguing artists and academics performing, presenting and sharing their work in a variety of disciplines and media.

Words in Edgewise takes place at 8 p.m., Thursday, July 21 at the Eastern Edge Gallery and is hosted by Morgan Murray. Admission is by donation.

Carol-Ann Galego will delve into the contention surrounding the biochemical impossibility of homeopathy in her lecture “Finding the Right Words: Dispelling the Mystery in Medicine.” Aimee Wall will read her Arts and Letters award-winning short story Historical Fiction. Ilia Nicholl is a singer/songwriter whose main instruments are violin and guitar. She has played in numerous local bands, including The Newish Klezmer Ensemble and The Hunter Gatherers, and strives to involve herself in as many different kinds of musical projects as she can.
