On Thursday, Feb. 4, Dr. Christopher Loomis, Memorial’s president and vice chancellor pro tempore, will deliver the university’s annual report to the community during a presentation to the St. John’s Rotary Club.
The luncheon begins at 1 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland.
The presentation continues a long-standing tradition at Rotary of providing the venue for the province’s leaders in public life and education to provide their annual reports.
Dr. Loomis will introduce Memorial University Z to A: President’s Report 2009 and highlight other recent significant events for Atlantic Canada’s largest university. He will also discuss the changing face of Memorial due to increasing enrolment by students hailing from across the country and around the world.
