Offenbach’s La Vie Parisienne
Come join us for a wonderful evening of comic operetta with Jacques Offenbach’s La Vie parisienne (with English subtitles). It’s a light-hearted and quite humorous operatic comedy depicting the giddy nightlife in Paris, adapted to a contemporary setting. The work is full of funny plot twists, lively boisterous music, and sultry sensuality (oh-là-là)! We’ll be showing you the 2008 production from the Opéra de Lyon, directed by Laurent Pelly.
