SUBJECT: PSA: Special lecture on geriatric interprofessional education and teamwork

A special lecture will take place May 14 on the topic of geriatric interprofessional education and teamwork. The lecture takes place from
12-1 p.m. in Lecture Theatre E (room 2956) in the School of Nursing, Health Sciences Centre.
The lecture is titled Best Practices and Models of Geriatric Interprofessional Education and Teamwork: Implications for Newfoundland and Labrador. The presenter is Dr. Phillip G. Clark, professor and director of the program in gerontology and geriatrics at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island, U.S.A. His research interests include interprofessional education for health care teamwork, health promotion with older adults, comparative health care policy, narrative gerontology and ethical issues in aging.
This lecture is free and everyone is invited to attend.
