SUBJECT: PSA: Canadian writer Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer to read at the Bar Room

     Canadian writer Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer will be read from her works at the Bar Room at Jennifer’s on Monday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. This reading is sponsored by the Arts Division, S. W. G. C., with funding from the Canada Council for the Arts. No admission. All are welcome.

     Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer, a writer of fiction based in Toronto, published the novel Perfecting (Goose Lane Editions) in 2009. She is also the author of The Nettle Spinner (Goose Lane, 2005), which was shortlisted for the Amazon.ca/Books In Canada First Novel Award, and the short story collection, Way Up (Goose Lane, 2003). She is a frequent reviewer for The Globe and Mail Book Review and was one of the founding editors for bookninja.com. She teaches creative writing through the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies and online through The New York Times Knowledge Network.
