SUBJECT: Aging gracefully focus of public lecture at Memorial University

The issue of healthy aging will be the focus of a free public presentation taking place in St. John’s this month, hosted by Memorial University.

Aging Gracefully: Plugging into Health Research will take place on Sunday, Jan. 17, from 2-4 p.m., at the Fluvarium.

The talk was initially set to take place last month but was postponed due to inclement weather.

It will feature Memorial researchers Dr. Wendy Young, Canada Research Chair in Healthy Aging, and Dr. Sharon Buehler, honorary research professor from the Division of Community Health and Humanities.

Both will showcase research on aging.

Everyone is welcome to attend the café.

Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
