SUBJECT: PSA: Volunteers collecting books for scholarship fund

Book lovers take note. The St. John’s club of the Canadian Federation of University Women will be accepting donations a Book Blitz on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Arts and Culture Centre for its upcoming annual spring book sale set for April 24 and 25. Books can be left at the Prince Philip Dr. entrance of the centre near the handicapped parking signs.
No encyclopedias, textbooks or Reader’s Digest condensed books, please.
Proceeds go towards scholarships at Memorial University, as well as CFUW’s Newfoundland and Labrador Art Poster Program.
