SirWilfredGrenfellCollegeArtGallery is pleased to host two events to celebrate the success of the Angela Baker exhibition The Francois Project, which closes Sept. 15.
A public talk by Corner Brook artist Angela Baker will focus on her oral history research on SouthwestCoast resettled communities and will take place in the Library and Computing Building (LC301) on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m.    Coffee will be served.
And on Saturday, Sept. 15, the gallery will host “Colours and Textures of the Land,” a Family Art Saturday event.Be inspired by the rich landscapes of The François Project and the land around you. Paint, glue and cut your own unique landscape using paper, paint, fabric, natural materials and much more. Also, make your own mark on a giant gallery landscape drawing! This event is being held Saturday, Sept. 15, 1-4 p.m. at the art gallery. No registration is required. This event is free of charge.
