The public is invited to a consultation on The Harris Centre’s Draft 2008-09 Strategic Action Plan.
When: Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, 12 – 2 p.m.
Where: Arts and Administration Building, room A-1043.
A light lunch will be provided.
The Leslie Harris Centre of Regional Policy and Development:

Generates activities which bring the university community in contact with policy makers and decision makers.
-
Provides advice to make research findings more relevant to decision makers.
-
Funds research that is relevant to the economic and social development of the province.
-
Provides platforms for faculty, staff and students to address the broader community.
-
Identifies ideas which may blossom into research projects, thesis topics and published articles.
Come hear how the Harris Centre can help you in your work. And contribute your ideas as to how the Harris Centre can help even more.
Dr. Rob Greenwood, the director of the Harris Centre, will update attendees on last year’s strategic action plan and solicit advice on next year’s plan.
This session is promoted to community partners.
Admission is free, but registration is required for catering purposes. Please register by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11. To register, please e-mail or call Kathy Mason at 737-3143 or kmason@mun.ca. Please advise of any dietary requirements.
