SUBJECT: PSA: Saskatchewan teachers to discuss role of teachers in curriculum revision at public lecture

            Two visiting Saskatchewan teachers, Garry Davis and Kevin Sawatzky, will hold a public lecture on Tuesday, May 13 to share their experiences, both positive and negative, of teaching high school mathematics in Saskatchewan over the past 20 years. Facilitated by the Math Learning Centre (MLC) and sponsored by the Atlantic Association for Research in the Mathematical Sciences (AARMS), the title of the lecture is, Island on the Prairies: The Important Role of Teachers in Curriculum Revision.
            The public lecture is being held in the lecture theatre at the INCO Innovation Centre from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, with a reception in the foyer of the INCO Centre to follow. Free parking is available in area 18, with additional parking in area 17 for $2.30.
