As a survivor of the Rwandan genocide, Dr. Philippe Basabose of Memorial University’s French and Spanish department, is uniquely positioned to revisit it in an intellectual context. His talk titled Genocide as a Defiance to the Ethics: The Case of Rwanda will be delivered as part of the St. John’s Public Lecture in Philosophy on Tuesday, March 25, at 8:30 p.m. at The Ship Pub, off Duckworth Street.
There will be an opportunity for discussion after the talk.
