SUBJECT: PSA: Music, Media and Culture series continues at Memorial University

Memorial University welcomes Dr. Deborah Wong of the University of California, Riverside, for the first in this year’s Music, Media and Culture public lecture series.
Dr. Wong will deliver a special lecture on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 7:30 p.m. entitled An Ethnomusicology of Hope. The presentation will take place in the Petro Canada Hall, School of Music, in St. John’s.
The lecture is sponsored by the Memorial University’s Research Centre for the Study of Music, Media and Place (MMaP). The series showcases diverse research areas, approaches, and presentation styles in the field of music.
The event is open to the public and is free of charge.
Parking is available in Lot 15.
