SUBJECT: Memorial Candle Light Service
DATE: December 4, 2007
A Memorial Candle Light Service will be held at St. John's Chapel, (attached to the School of Social Work), Memorial University St. John’s campus at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, to remember family, friends, co-workers and loved ones who have died by suicide.
The service provides family, friends, neighbours, and professionals who have worked in prevention, post-vention and emergency response to gather, reflect and remember those who have died by suicide. Please feel free to e-mail a picture of the person you wish to remember to cooke@mun.ca so that we may put in a slideshow presentation or you may bring along a picture to the service.
Attendees are welcome to gather for tea and coffee following the service. This service is sponsored by Campus Ministries.
