CORNER BROOK – The Visiting Artist Program at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College is pleased to present a public lecture by Robin Price on March 7 at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre.
The presentation is titled “The Joy of Collaboration: Two Decades of Robin Price, Publisher.”
Robin Price is a maker of artists’ books, mostly in limited edition and under the imprint of Robin Price, publisher. She has a passion for making books by hand, with as much diversity in content and form of which she is capable. The press is her ongoing, interdisciplinary liberal arts education. She seeks out contemporary artists, writers, and artisans with who to collaborate, in an effort to create synergistic books. Ms. Price’s work is widely exhibited and collected.
The presentation is being held in conjunction with the art gallery’s international symposium, The Architecture of the Book.
Symposium organizers gratefully acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts and Sir Wilfred Grenfell College in making this visit possible.
