The St. John’s Alumni Chapter of Memorial University proudly presents its 6th Annual Wine Tasting evening – Northern Lights – on Friday, May 4, 2007, from 7 – 10 p.m. at the Marine Institute on Ridge Road in St. John’s.

Dr. Arthur May, former Memorial president and professor emeritus, will guide guests through the fine wines of the northern hemisphere. As a special for the evening, guests can sample the award-winning Columbia Crest 2001 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, of which only 4000 cases were produced.

Throughout the evening, guests can also savour two reception wines and three tasting wines, enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres, and reconnect with Memorial alumni and friends.

Admission: $45 per person, which includes a $10 taxi voucher. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
