SUBJECT: PSA: Memorial University launches Science in the Mall 2006

Members of the general public – particularly young children – are invited to visit the Avalon Mall in St. John’s on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., to take part in an exciting program organized by Memorial University’s Faculty of Science.
Science in the Mall 2006 will include demonstrations, handouts, games, prizes and various other events geared towards showing the importance of science and that the subject can be fun. There is no cost to take part in the activities. Math in the Mall takes place in the area in front of the Gap clothing store.
