SUBJECT: Boston Pizza supports Memorial scholarships and bursaries

St. John’s, Newfoundland: The Memorial University Alumni Association is pleased to announce a partnership with Boston Pizza. For every purchase made by alumni and friends of Memorial, Boston Pizza will donate a percentage of the purchase price to student scholarships and bursaries. One hundred per cent of the donations received from Boston Pizza will go directly to students in the form of scholarships and bursaries.
When dining at either of the St. John's locations of Boston Pizza simply write "MUN Scholarships" on the back of the dining bill and drop it in the charities box located near the reception desk. Ten per cent of the bill will then be donated to Memorial's scholarships and bursaries on behalf of Boston Pizza. There is no increase in the price of any menu item. This offer is valid only at participating locations in St. John’s, NL.
“This is a really great way for everyone to help,” said Darcy McMeekin, Alumni Affairs and Development. “You don’t have to attend or work at Memorial to contribute. Friends, family, any supporters of Memorial are welcomed – and encouraged – to help raise available scholarship funds for students.”
