SUBJECT: ACORN-NL to be officially launched at Memorial

The province’s first optical research network, ACORN-NL will be officially launched on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in the 1st floor atrium of Memorial’s Inco Innovation Centre. The ACORN-NL network is collaboration among the major public research agencies in Newfoundland and Labrador and it will enable researchers in the province to participate in 21st century national and global collaborative research.
Media agencies are encouraged to send representatives to the launch. Parking is available in Lot 15. Reception to follow.
